Munich, Germany / Tokyo, Japan, June 15, 2023 — Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbH GmbH, a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, announced today that it has completed the divestiture of its subsidiary Toride Pharma K.K., and its associated entity, Toride Asset Trading Co. Ltd. to Fuji Seal, Inc.
This divestiture exemplifies Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbH’s proactive network management strategy. “Strategically, we will concentrate our operations in Japan on our flagship site in Kawagoe, which is one of the largest and best-equipped facilities in the country,” said Dr. Andreas Raabe, CEO of Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbH.
The divestiture of Toride Pharma K.K. and Toride Asset Trading Co. Ltd. to Fuji Seal, Inc. represents a beneficial opportunity for all parties. Actelion Pharmaceuticals Deutschland GmbH will streamline its operations, Fuji Seal, Inc. will expand its sector coverage, and Toride Pharma’s employees and customers will benefit from long-term growth and investment plans under new ownership.
